Advanced
The Advanced page contains the following tabs:
- Categories - View and create categories for tagging your workflows.
- Git Repositories - View, add, and remove Git repositories that host your workflows and atomic actions.
- Remotes - Create and modify Automation Remote virtual appliances for use with on-premises resources.
Categories
Categories are tags for grouping workflows within the Workflow Editor. Automation ships with pre-defined categories and allows you to create your own business-specific categories.
For additional information, see the Categories Help topic.
Git Repositories
Use the Git Repositories page to add, modify, or delete the Git repositories that house your workflows and atomic actions. Select a repository from the list to view and modify its properties. For additional information about configuring repositories, see the GitHub Repositories and Import and Export a Workflow Help topics.
Remotes
Automation Remote is an on-premises virtual appliance that allows your workflows to communicate with resources inside your network behind a firewall. Because many on-premises devices are not exposed to the internet, Automation Remote bridges the gap between those devices and the cloud so they can be incorporated into your workflows.
For additional information, see the Remotes Help topic.
