Terminate EC2 Instances

Use the Terminate EC2 Instances activity to delete the specified AWS Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) instances.

Caution: This activity deletes the specified instances and any data they may contain. After you terminate an EC2 instance, you will no longer be able to connect to it or retrieve data. If you want to stop a running instance, use the Stop EC2 Instances activity.

Usage

Complete the following properties to use this activity:

• EC2 Request - Specify the following information or click the Variable Reference icon to choose a variable:
  • Instance IDs - Click Add to enter the EC2 Instance IDs to be deleted.
