Ansible Tower OAuth Credentials

Ansible Tower (formerly AWX) allows you to manage access control, including sharing of SSH credentials without someone being able to transfer those credentials. Inventory can be graphically managed or synced with a wide variety of cloud sources. It logs all of your jobs, integrates with LDAP, and has a browsable REST API.

Use Ansible Tower OAuth Credentials account keys with Ansible Tower workflow activities and Ansible Tower Endpoint targets.

Usage

Complete the following steps to create a new Ansible Tower OAuth Credentials account key:

  1. In the left navigation menu, click Account Keys.
  2. Click New Account Key.
  3. From the Account Key Type drop-down list, choose Ansible Tower OAuth Credentials.
  4. Enter a unique display name for the account key in the Display Name field and a brief description in the Description field.
  5. In the Ansible Tower area, specify the following:
    • Username - Enter the Ansible Tower username.
    • Password - Enter the password for the specified username.
  6. Click Submit.
