Create Subnet in a VPC

Use the Create Subnet in a VPC activity to create a new subnet within a virtual private cloud (VPC).

Usage

Complete the following properties to use this activity:

• Create Subnet - Specify the following information or click the Variable Reference icon to choose a variable:
  • VPC ID - Enter the virtual private cloud (VPC) ID to associate with the subnet.
  • Name Tag - Enter the name tag for the subnet.
  • IPv4 CIDR Block - Enter the IPv4 CIDR block for the subnet, which is a subset of the VPC CIDR block.
  • Availability Zone - Enter the availability zone in which the subnet has to be created.
